Debbie's Cake Art

A pillared, or separated cake, has a far more traditional look than many other designs. In times gone by, all wedding cakes made in this country were royal iced and lifted by pillars between each tier.

Although royal icing is available at Debbie's Cake Art, it is not called for very often. This may be because many of today's modern brides prefer at least one level to be a sponge cake, and royal icing can only be applied to fruit cakes.

If your wedding has a traditional theme, a cake which is separated in some way, either by pillars, vases or separators may well suit your requirements.
