Welcome to my web site. I am a member of the British Sugarcraft
Guild and I am registered with Mid Suffolk District Council. I am based on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, between Eye and Diss.
As well as those seen here, other examples of my work can regularly be seen in "Wedding Cakes - A Design Source", which is
published three times a year.
Every cake created is unique; all the flowers shown here are
hand crafted from sugar and are true to life. To see the details of the flowers, click on the rose to the left.
Models of the Bride and Groom can be created to resemble the happy
couple and novelty features are one of my specialities.
I am able to offer a local delivery service; brides from further afield are welcome to collect their cakes, or can be accommodated
via local courier services.
Flavours
I am happy to provide rich fruit cake (made from only the finest
natural organic ingredients, free range eggs and french brandy) or your choice of sponge - flavours include vanilla, chocolate,
carrot, coffee, orange, lemon, coconut and cherry. For something different, why not try coconut and Malibu or chocolate and
Gran Marnier! I also offer toffee sponge, with real toffee pieces, and rich Belgian chocolate cake. I am happy to supply tiered
cakes which comprise layers of both fruit and sponge cake, should that be your wish.
Cake Stands - these are available to hire in the Ipswich and Norwich
area when you book your cake with me.
I am able to offer a range of cake stands for hire, including a three tier "S", three
tier "stepped", two tier "C", three or four tier "E", a glass stand suitable for cup cakes or individual cakes, and three
different perspex stands, two of which can have the uprights filled with, for example, rose petals or sweets when you book
your cake with me. There are occasions where I am able to offer a "stand hire" only service.
I also have a square and a round base in a gold finish and a selection of knives
for hire. If you would like an unusual shaped cake, and are unable to find a base to place it on, I am usually able to make
a base to accommodate your cake.
Traditional or Modern
Ranging from chocolate wedding cakes to individual cup cakes,
traditional royal icing or fondant covered, stacked or pillared, novelty or contemporary, let your imagination and my expertise
create that fantastic centrepiece for your special day. I welcome original and innovative ideas and I am happy to tailormake
your individual cake to your specification.
Please note that due to the hot summers we have been blessed with over the past couple
of years, I no longer "finish" cakes with chocolate between May and September. I am more than happy to provide a chocolate
sponge cake, with a chocolate filling, but it needs to be decorated in a traditional manner. I would be devastated if
you arrived at your venue to be greeted by a chocolate puddle!
